I’m Christine, the founder of Alice’s Teapot Café & Cheshire Coffee, a little wonderland in Delray Beach where being different isn’t just okay—it’s encouraged. I created this whimsical café because I wanted a place that felt like stepping into another world, where you can slow down, laugh, eat something delicious, and simply enjoy the moment.

The truth is, Alice’s Teapot is a little bit of all of those things—and so much more.

We serve traditional-inspired afternoon tea and high tea, freshly baked breads and scones, sandwiches, pastries, coffee, gelato and sorbet, along with something I’m especially passionate about: homemade soup. Our soups are made with care, the kind of comforting, hearty soups that remind you of home and make you want to come back for another bowl. Whether you’re stopping in for lunch, searching for a cozy coffee shop in

I’m an artist and Chef by passion, and Alice’s Teapot is really a reflection of both sides of me. I’ve always believed that life is too short to take everything so seriously. It’s okay to be different. It’s okay to be playful. And sometimes, it’s perfectly okay to have dessert first.

But there is another, much deeper story behind this little wonderland.

Before opening Alice’s Teapot, I experienced the unimaginable loss of my only son, Ryan, who struggled with mental illness. There really aren’t words big enough to describe that kind of grief. But somewhere in the middle of that darkness, I found a reason to keep creating—to take the love I had for my son and turn it into something filled with life, light, creativity and connection.

That is part of what Alice’s Teapot means to me.
