I'm not gonna lie — today I washed more dishes than I have in a month (maybe longer!), bussed tables for the first time ever, cooked, mopped, swept — maybe not in that order — and now my aching muscles are chanting victory. A little sweat equity, a lot of groceries, and a family of honest, hardworking employees, and we're officially geared up for a powerful season at our cute cafe.
I’m happy. I’m proud. So, so proud of my work family, who make even the hardest days joyful. Team doesn’t even begin to cover it. We are redefining what a high tea party looks like — no one, at least in Florida, can match the creativity and deliciousness we serve up at our Delray Beach restaurant. Seriously, sometimes even I surprise myself with my little experiments!
Our 2nd Saturday was a success — 88 satisfied customers, born from my dreams, a lot of faith, and some extra spirit energy from my son above. God, I miss him. But I know this mamma’s making him proud.
On another note... tomorrow starts the next big transformation. Bit by bit, some more blood, sweat, and tears (the good kind!), and most importantly, a sprinkle of magic thanks to Alice and her fabulous Wonderland enchanted forest.
If you’re searching for high tea near me or just want to relax over some incredible Delray Beach coffee and treats, come see what we're building. Afternoon tea is about to get a whole new meaning here.
Because if you're looking for imperfection, you'll find it — but in the most perfect way.
Let the games begin!
